Beckington

Beckington is a village that combines historic charm with modern vitality, making it one of the most desirable locations in Somerset. Once prosperous in the medieval wool trade, its heritage is still visible today in the beautiful stone cottages, the grand 14th-century Church of St George, and landmarks like Beckington Castle and the Wool Merchants House.

For homebuyers, this history gives the village an unrivalled sense of place — but it’s the lifestyle that truly makes Beckington stand out. White Row Farm Shop and Mes Amis café provide artisan food and everyday essentials, while the village’s proximity to Frome and Bath ensures culture, shopping, and transport links are close at hand.

Beckington is also a village with a creative streak. The Wool Hall, once a recording studio, attracted world-famous musicians, adding a unique cultural note to the area’s story. Today, residents enjoy the mix of tradition and modern living, with period architecture sitting alongside attractive, thoughtfully designed homes.

For those looking for a home that balances character, countryside, and convenience, Beckington offers it all. It’s a place to put down roots, enjoy a strong sense of community, and make the most of village life at its finest.

A mix of  3 and 4 bedroom homes will be available in 2026.
