Local pupils help Cotswold Homes Break Ground at “Quarry Fold” — A new development in Cromhall

Cotswold Homes has officially broken ground at Quarry Fold, an exclusive new community of 31 two, three and four-bedroom homes in the village of Cromhall.
To mark the start of construction, three pupils from St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School joined the Cotswold Homes team on site, taking part in a special groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the milestone. The pupils were invited to help officially launch the development, bringing a sense of community involvement to the occasion.
Quarry Fold has been thoughtfully designed with modern living in mind, with each home combining contemporary style and timeless appeal. Featuring sleek open-plan layouts and high-quality finishes throughout, the homes will offer a premium living experience.
Every detail has been carefully considered, from energy-efficient features such as underfloor heating, solar PV panels and ground source heat pumps, to the inclusion of premium appliances. The result is a collection of homes that balance comfort, sustainability and elegance as well as peace of mind.
Sarah Williams, Sales and Marketing Director at Cotswold Homes, commented: “We are delighted to be underway in Cromhall and would like to thank the pupils from the local primary school for helping us mark the start of construction. They were very engaging and had some thoughtful questions to ask us.
“We believe Quarry Fold will offer a wide range of homes that appeal to buyers of all ages. For families, there are nearby schools, safe surroundings and plenty of green space to explore. Residents will also benefit from good commuter links, with Bristol and Gloucester within easy reach, while still enjoying the calm of rural life. For those looking to downsize, Cromhall offers peace, character and a strong sense of community.”
Graham Pike, Headteacher at St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School, added: “Our thanks to Cotswold Homes. It was wonderful for our pupils to be invited to help start construction on site, and they really enjoyed learning about how homes are built.”
Cromhall is a charming Gloucestershire village that perfectly balances rural beauty with a vibrant community spirit. Known as one of England’s longest villages, it features a unique layout of homes and cottages set within picturesque countryside, making it an ideal place to live.
