Mandy and Richard Bunce have officially received the keys to their brand-new three-bedroom detached home in Great Somerford, built by Cotswold Homes. Having lived in the same village home for over 26 years, Mandy and Richard wanted to remain close to family and friends while benefiting from the advantages of a modern, energy-efficient home. “We were living just five miles away and wanted to stay local, but in a home that suited our new lifestyle,” Mandy explained. “We knew we wanted something modern rather than a period property. Their new home is packed with energy-efficient features, which was a key factor in their decision.

Richard added: “We love all the energy-saving measures included, like the air source heat pump and solar PV, which we hope will lower our heating bills. Having PVCu windows for the first time in 26 years means no more repainting window frames!”

“Some housebuilders don’t allow many changes, but Cotswold Homes have been accommodating,” Mandy shared. “The site manager, Sam, has also been so helpful. We’ve already made a few additions and have plans to build a garden room extension.”
